Fight hunger at the Michigan Electric Cooperative Symposium this year by participating in our first commitment to community service project.

We’re partnering with Kids Against Hunger to package approximately 10,000 highly-nutritious, vitamin-fortified, dehydrated meals on Wednesday, April 13 in the Vandenburg Room at the Amway Grand.

All of the packages will be distributed to food pantries, backpack programs or other qualifying organizations in your co-op service areas. Watch the 90 second video above to learn more about the project.

“My family and I have personally participated in a Kids Against Hunger packing event,” said Doug Snitgen, MECA, Executive Vice President. “It’s a very well-organized, fun experience that complements our co-op mission.”

Be sure to check the “Commitment to Community Service Project” box when you register for the symposium if you want to participate. We hope you will join us!
